Kafaalo’s vision is to give every orphan or neglected child in Somalia a safe home, help them to a brighter future and help take part in the improvement of their local society.
- Help the children take more part in the local society.
- Making sure the children become more independent in the future.
- Help them in getting a better education thus preparing for the future.
- Building the self esteem of these children.

Container from Norway to the flood victims in Somalia

Kafaalo Welfare Organization has sent a container consisting of clothes and shoes to the flood victims in Somalia. We all have by now seen and heard it on the news about the severe floods that engulfed the already poverty and war stricken country of Somalia.
The floods have come about as a result of heavy rains which has lead to the rivers of Shabelle and Jubba overrunning their banks. The areas in which these rivers are situated in are populated by many villages which are the main farmlands of the country. This disaster has led to many deaths by drowning caused by the heavy floods which has reached far into the country side. Incidents have occurred of crocodiles eating many people who have been caught in these floods. These floods have caused thousands of people to flee their homes and living in a very precarious lifes.

Kafaalo Welfare Organizaion in co-operation with Rahma Islamic Relief Fund distributed udhiya meat to poor, needy people in Kismayo, a coastal city in the south of Somalia. Rahma Islamic Relief Fund which is an Islamic humanitarian organisation which has its’ headquarters and operates from Oslo Norway was the brain behind this idea. Since Kafaalo operates in Somalia, this project was done on behalf of Rahma Islamic Relief by Kafaalo who was the project manager in this project. All praise is due to Allah, who made this project easy for us. The container sent from Oslo in Norway arrived safely in its destination in southern Somalia.
After that we would like to thank the Somali community in Norway for their support in this honourable project. Likewise we extend a big thanks to Flyktninghjelpen and Zamzam Foundation who gave us great support and help by utilizing many years of experience with such projects. In the Easter holiday Kafaalo visited the Netherlands. This tour was meant as a member recruiting, fundraising and at the same time a chance to get the message of Kafaalo out to the public. The trip started on 07th of April and was ended 09th of the same month. During the stay, Kafaalo visited Amsterdam and Tilburg. Tilburg is regarded as the 7th or 8th largest city in the Netherlands and is 120 km from Amsterdam.
